Mixing different breed’s DNA with the Pomi results in some pretty awesome and interesting combinations. Please browse our list of the top 16 Pomeranian mixed breeds below, and let us know your favorites in the comments!

I think they’re all very adorable, but my favorites would have to be 1, 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 12, 16 (I love fluffy dogs). I suppose if I really had to narrow it down to make a choice, it would be either 1 or 16.

It looks like you sure do love fluffy dogs, Nicole!
Thanks for chiming in.
(For the record, I think 16 is my fav too).

I want to breed peel-a-poms

The dog at the beginning of the article, where it shows it’s whole body. What kind is that one because I have a dog that was given to me that looks almost exactly the same but is more red with a white main. My niece says my dog is part Chihuahua. I think is Pomeranian and red or tri border collie, but a mini, possibly a miniature American Sheppard (not Australian). It is really hard to find anything on either.

Hey, Jennifer.
It’s just a stock photo, so there’s no way to be sure, but I think that’s just a Pomeranian.
🙂
The only way to definitely identify dogs of uncertain ancestry is via a dog DNA test.
Best of luck!

I mistakingly got my EX the Shih-Tzu & Pomeranian Mix which brought me to becoming the sole guardian of the Pup Bc she one lazy-lazy gal. I named him Milo he’s beautifully coated hue offish-white like the way a nicotine stained wall (kinda yellowish color) basically describes Milos color. He still lives with the Nun-Funyun lazibones and I wish he were with me Bc he probably hasn’t been giving a simple bath in months. I’m volunteering some time this weekend to give Milo a bath poor boy

These dogs are all very cute mixes… I just hope the pom was the dad in these since they are a smaller breed and the moms were the bigger ones.

We have a 3 months old Pomerania/terrier and Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix. She is absolutely beautiful and everyone loves her long soft fur and black and white Markings. The puppy in #6 the Mustache Cockeranian is the “film negative” of my puppy and I would love to breed my girl with one just like him. Any chance to find his owners?

Reply
Ben Team

Hey, PomTerr.
That’s a pretty old photo, but you may be able to track down the breeder by clicking on the link beneath the photo and doing some homework.
Best of luck!

I don’t see my Louie in the group, but he looks much closer to the pup above the title with more white like the Japanese Spitz.

I love the dog that’s number 16 your cross between a Pomeranian and a Papillon. I rescued a Pomeranian and Papillon mix adult male from the shelter back in 2012 and unfortunately he passed away last year due to terminal illness I miss him so much I didn’t think I would want another dog again but when I saw this cute little picture I fell in love so I hope this little dog is still available please let me know thank you very much

Hey Sharon – we don’t breed or sell dogs, but we agree that Pom/Papillon mixes are very cute!
