Hey there, Lene. Thanks for pointing out the error!
We update our articles regularly and as new information becomes available (this article was originally published long before the FDA’s announcement about the correlation between grain-free foods and DCM).

There were supposed to be a few grain-inclusive options added to this article, but I see now that our product changes didn’t save correctly for some reason.

That actually has not been established yet. Check out our article on the subject to learn more.
It may turn out to be true, but more research is needed before we can definitively say grain-free diets cause DCM.

That said, there’s no reason to feed most dogs grain-free diets unless they have a specific intolerance to grains (which is rare).
