Hey, Ketan.
There are a number of ways to help a pooch put on weight, such as adding toppers to her food.
But if you’ve been trying to help her gain weight for a while without success, you should probably discuss the issue with your vet. She may have a parasite issue.

Hey there, Ellen.
That really is a question for your vet, especially given that he’s on a prescription diet.
You’ll really just have to wait to talk to him or her, but I would guess the recommendation would be to simply provide more of the prescription diet at meals.

Are any of these supplements good for a 55 lb 6 month old puppy who is on a prescription diet from vet – allergy kibble made by purina. There are not enough calories in his food for him. He’s short by about 200 calories a day and then there’s the calories he burns – 3 walks a day – playing with my other dog etc.

Or would you recommend something else. I have a call in to my vet but would appreciate your opinion.
