Always bought Purina Pro Plan, but I started feeding him some vegetables and fruits at 1 y/o. Pumpkins and sweet potatoes boiled, is a good source of fiber to his tummy. His coat is shinny and soft. I recommend adding this as part of their diet. I feed him apples, bananas, pears, strawberries, melons, and pineapple. Also, plain yogurt, this have to be as low on sugar possible, and if it’s as natural possible is better.

Now, I always try that the main source of the dry food is animal, no chicken or duck, and that it doesn’t have corn. More protein than fat, and that the crude protein goes a like with the amount the product label says.
