Glad you found the article helpful, Eric.
Yak cheese treats can be a good option. They’re a bit pricey and they are very tough, so you will want to be careful the first few times you offer one to your pooch — especially if your pup is old or has dental issues.
We write about them a little more in this article. We’ve also covered Frankly Beef Collagen Chews, which may be another good option, if you’re not interested in rawhides.
Best of luck!

I would like to hear of your perspective on the Yak Cheese hard treats.

I have 2 hard- chewing Aussiedoodles, 6 and 10 yrs, both at 50 lbs.

My concern is if these treats are too hard and risk dental damage, although when chewed to smaller pieces they can be microwaved to a crunchy cheesey digestible snack.

Thanks.

Not a good idea to give an animal. Too easy for them to chew a small piece off and either choke or it become an obstruction.
