The truth is, many dogs enjoy rawhides their entire lives without issue, while others may suffer a blockage after eating just one.

It all just comes down to your pup’s chewing habits, the quality of the rawhide, and your risk tolerance. Some owners are comfortable accepting this risk, while others aren’t.

She is vomiting and there is no food in the vomit to speak of. My question is, if rawhide is dangerous why does it continue to be sold so dogs can get sick and die of intestinal blockages.
