In reply to Gail. Yikes, Gail -- that's one determined doggo! Have you considered covering the inside face of the fence with plastic-coated wire? Otherwise, your only option may be to change to a different type of fence. Let us know how it goes!

Our yellow lab mix literally goes through the wood picket fence. We thought once we replaced the part of the fence that was old and weak, we would have no more issues. Nope. She broke through the brand new fence. She chose the new fence part rather than having an easier time through part of the old fence. She loves being in the backyard. We hate to have to tie her.

I landed here because of my 2 Houdini’s I do share a bit of relief that im not alone…WHo knew a german Shepard/st Bernard mix could chew through a cattle fence. Escape under it..and even hop the 6 foot structure? Im starting to think the old farmer who I adopted these brothers from sold me some bionic dogs LOL I mean I have tried everything and its still not good enough…I cant let these guys outsmart me —Tomorrow Im going to line the exterior cattle fence with a chain-link and slowly but surely start to collect the material needed for the coyote rollers… Despite all of this I love my two boys they keep the wil animals away and I will now think of Jobs for them to do thanks for the suggestions Kelsey!
