We posted about her on social media and there were lots of sightings but because she is so nervous nobody could catch her. I suggested that it would be best if she could be encouraged into a secure garden and we would come and catch her. I blacked out and gave myself a black eye and bleeding face, lots of people helped look for her. She was out all night ,in the morning somebody phoned to say that she had been seen in a local park, as we went to leave the house she was sitting on our door step with bleeding paws, she had flaps of skin on her paws hanging off. The vet cut the dead skin off, a missing dog is something I never ever want to go through again, she covered a huge distance but considering the roads she had to cross and not knowing the area very well I have no idea how she found her way home. We are now contacting a dog trainer to hopefully ensure this never happens again.
